Becky Griffiths – Programme Coordinator
After graduating from university, Becky spent nearly ten years at EMI Classics gaining valuable experience in the Business and Artist Contracts department. For the last two and a half years, she has been working in a secondary school supporting children with special needs which, although at times challenging, has been very rewarding. Becky is pleased to be returning to Jack Petchey’s “Speak Out” Challenge! after spending five years working there between 2008 – 2013.
Elizabeth Hainsworth – Social Media Manager
With a strong background in Visual and Performing Arts, degrees from the University of Kent and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Liz relishes new challenges and the opportunity to engage with new people.
She passionately believes that creativity and the arts are good for you – they keep you thinking and they keep you doing.
Charlotte Hindle – Programme Support
After working in Lonely Planet’s Head Office and UK office, Charlotte became a freelance author. This meant that she often had to talk in public at bookshop events, travel fairs and travel conferences. To help hone her speaking skills, Charlotte joined Toastmasters which, in turn, led her to Speakers Trust. She so admired their work that from 2006 to 2009 she became a public speaking trainer and Regional Manager with Jack Petchey’s “Speak Out Challenge”. In 2015 Speakers Trust asked if she would return to the charity and work part-time at Head Office. She is absolutely delighted to be back.
