Jack Petchey's "Speak Out" Challenge! is a programme run by
Speakers Trust and funded by the
Jack Petchey Foundation.
Speakers Trust has trained over
100,000 people and is the UK's
No.1 public speaking training provider in the education sector.
Our network of professional trainers, speakers and facilitators provide dynamic training to all sectors of the population, particularly to those in the education, voluntary and public arenas who have little access to such opportunity.
We are currently working with over
600 schools and voluntary organisations throughout the UK.
As the UK's largest training provider for schools and the voluntary sector, Speakers Trust believes that good communication skills and personal confidence are key to active involvement in community life and our ability to make a difference.
Sue Warner is the Founding Director, and Antonia Swinson as CEO, leads a team of close to 60 specialist trainers. Directors include David Thompson, Anne Cameron, Tony Breslin and Alex Green.
Speakers Trust would like to thank and acknowledge Sean Kennedy (Programme Director 2006-2009) for his leadership, time and expertise that he put into setting up, developing, and running the Speak Out Challenge from its inception in 2006 to its phenomenal growth and success that was built on a great partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation. Speakers Trust would also like to thank and acknowledge Julie Holness (Programme Director 2009- 2011) for her commitment and management during her tenure to ensure that standards continued to improve and the success of the programme flourished.
