Events Information

Jack Petchey's 2012 "Speak Out" Challenge! is available to every state secondary school in London and Essex.

The training scheme is offered to between 25 and 50 students from Year 10 (1 or 2 x separate training days for 25 students). The school decides which pupils will participate. Speakers Trust strongly recommends that the training is offered to a cross-section of students in the year.

The project is divided into four areas to coincide with the three school semesters:

  • North & North West London: Winter Term - September to December 2011
  • South London: Spring Term - January to March 2012
  • East London: Summer Term - April to June 2012
  • Essex: Spring to Summer Term - January to June 2012

All Regional Finals commence at 6.30 pm sharp and finish by 8.30pm unless otherwise noted.
