  • On the day you will learn how to speak in front of a group with confidence and enjoyment
  • The workshop fits into a normal school day, so breaks and lunches will be the same
  • You won't even need a note pad, as you will receive a special workbook
  • The day is great fun and very interactive, with plenty of speaking games and challenges
  • You will receive a special "Speak Out" Challenge! certificate
  • Up to 6 speakers will go through to the school's Assembly "Speak Out" Final and then one or two to the Regional Final. Note: We find that it is often the students who are the quietest or the shyest that get the most from the workshops and often make the biggest improvement
  • It is much easier than you think

    • You will have the chance to speak several times learning how to think quickly
    • You will find out how to prepare a speech and deliver it
    • You will be asked to give a short speech about yourself, only a minute in length (This will be based on a personal experience, like a holiday or a story)

  • You will also have an opportunity to complete the Challenge and "Speak Out", on ANY subject you feel strongly about -

    • Is there an issue or topic that motivates you or annoys you?
    • Possibly something you would like to change?
    • You might want to talk about an achievement or someone who inspires you?

  • So what will YOU Speak Out about? You can start thinking about your topic now, possibly begin to research content. While you will be learning skills that will last you a lifetime - for those that are motivated by competitions and prizes you will only have one day to shine - BE READY!

"Fantastic, really good fun. Something that you can get a lot of enjoyment from and is really worth taking part in"- James - Tower Hamlets
