When and Where
Jack Petchey`s 2008 "Speak Out" Challenge! is available to every state secondary school in London and Essex.
The training scheme is offered to
50 students from Year 10 (2 x separate training days for 25 students). The school decides which pupils will participate.
SpeakersBank strongly recommends that the training is offered to a cross-section of students in the year.
The project is divided into
four areas to coincide with the
three school semesters:
- North & North West London: Winter Term - September to December 2007
- South London: Spring Term - January to March 2008
- East London: Summer Term - April to June 2008
- Essex: Spring to Summer Term - January to June 2008
All borough finals commence at 6.30 pm sharp and finish at 8.30pm unless otherwise noted
